Technology and the Modern Media Center

Summer 2010

The purpose of this course is to provide prospective and current media specialists opportunities to engage in practical, hands-on applications of technology in the media center. In this course, students will work in a collaborative setting to learn about technologies they can use to operate in a 21st Century media center.

Who: UGA graduate students in the School Library Media program and inservice media specialists and support personnel.

What: Attend 5 days of classes one week in July12-16, M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Credit: UGA students receive three hours of college credit ($125 materials fee – no textbook)
Inservice professionals receive five PLU credits ($250 – five PLUs for the price of four!)

Payment can be made on the first day of class. Make checks payable to UGA ETC.
